Applying to The Citadel Graduate College
Thank you for your interest in applying to The Citadel Graduate College.
The deadline for the Psychology: Clinincal Counseling and School Psychology programs has passed for 2016. We are no longer accepting applications for those programs.
Follow these steps to begin your graduate career.
1. Check the requirements and know the deadlines.
Each degree and certificate program has its own admission requirements and deadlines. To review the requirements for your program of interest please refer to the academic catalog.
If you are a first time applicant, you will need to create a Login ID and PIN. Please make note of this information; it can not be retrieved at a later date.
If you have previously started or completed an online aplication, use the same Login ID and PIN to make changes to a current application or apply to a new program.
3. Submit your application.
The application requires a nonrefundable fee of $40. You will be prompted to pay the fee once you have completed the online application.
4. Send your transcript.
You must submit an official transcript of your highest degree earned, unless otherwise requested by the admissions office. Official transcripts should be sent directly to the Graduate College and must be sealed and stamped by the issuing institution.

5. Register for a graduate admissions test.
Many of our graduate degree programs require a graduate admissions test score. This score is not required for graduate certificate programs. Acceptance of admissions test vary by program. Check your program requirements before registering for an exam.

6. Check the status of your application.
You may check the status of your application and admission materials by signing into the online application
with your Login ID and PIN and clicking on your current application under pending.
Out of State Policy for Online Courses
The Citadel is currently authorized and licensed to operate in select states. At this time, The Citadel is only accepting online applications from students who reside in approved states, as defined by the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement. The Citadel is actively working to verify authorization in the remaining states. A list of approved states can be found here
. North Carolina and Kentucky will be joining the approved SARA states this summer.
