The Citadel Summer School

What will you be doing during the dog days of summer? Why not accelerate your degree through The Citadel’s summer school program? With many undergraduate and graduate courses offered during the day, evening and online, you can gain transferable credit hours or even start a degree program—all while enjoying the summer in Charleston.


For Graduate Students:

Are you a full-time teacher looking to advance your career during summer break? A 9-5 business professional on the hunt for that big promotion? Or maybe you’re a full-time parent who’s ready to study on the beach while the kids play in the sand. The Citadel Graduate College offers 26 graduate degree programs with 42 concentration options, and 25 graduate certificate programs, all of which are offered in the evenings and online this summer. Now is the time to finally take that step towards a brighter future.

For Undergraduate Students:

No matter where you attend college full time, you can catch up on needed credit hours while enjoying the summer in Charleston! All undergraduate courses at The Citadel Summer School have transferable credits. And scheduling is flexible—with courses offered during the day, evening and online, you can enjoy summer your way, while keeping your education on track. Students can choose to take courses throughout the summer, or even for just one summer term.

The Citadel also offers 10 degree completion programs for adult students who wish to earn a bachelor's degree. Current degree completion students can register for summer courses through Lesesne Gateway.
